Applications for DeltaPValves®:
District Cooling with Heat Exchangers
Where heat exchangers are required in district cooling applications, a quality pressure independent control valve should be used to eliminate flow fluctuations as loads vary across piping networks improving system delta T and saving energy costs. This represents a another application for larger DeltaPValves®.
Dedicated Heat Recovery
Flow Control Industries' independent representative in Indiana calls it "Dedicated Heat Recovery on Steroids" when DeltaPValves® are employed in these applications. In many cases 80% or more of the domestic hot water demand can be met by recovering heat from the condenser water return. The greater the chilled water return temperature the more efficient the operation, which is the benefit of DeltaPValve® technology.
Process Cooling
There is an entire market for industry quality valves designed to minimize the variation in supply temperature of the process fluid at the loads. Usually these valves are significantly more expensive than their commercial quality counterparts. DelatPValves® can provide better control at a lower price.
